Attitude Towards Servants Of God
A poor widow provide welfare fo Prophet Elijah, and she become rich afterward. Di widow don initially konsider sey both bi son and herself go die out of poverty, but di story of her life change once she help di servant of God. Di bible report am, “So hin rise and go to Zarephath. And wen he come to di city gate, indeed one widow dey dea dey gather sticks. And hin call to am and say, “I beg bring me little water in a cup, make i drink.” And as she won go get am, he call am and say, “I beg bring morsel of bread fo me fo your hand.” So she say, “As di Lord your God live, I no get bread, only one handful of flour fo bin, and one little oil in jar; and see, I dey gather couple of sticks weh i go go in and prepare am fo myself and my son, that we fit eat am, and die.” And Elijah tell her, “Make you no fear; go do as you don talk, but make small cake fo me from inside the first, and bring am fo me; and after make you make some fo yourself and your pikin. Fo thus says di Lord God of Israel: ‘Di bin of flour no go be finish, nor di jar of oil go run dry, until di day di Lord sends rain to earth.’” So she go away and do according to di word of Elijah; and she and hin and her household eat fo many days. Di bin of flour no finish, nor di jar of oil run dry, according to di Lord 2ord weh He speak by Elijah” (1 King 17:10-16).
LESSON
Na good thing to bless God servants; those weh care to do so go receive dynamic God blessings. Since God name dey associated with hin servants, and Hin presence always dey with dem, anyone weh bless dem go be bless. Also, anyone weh attack God servant go be severely punished. Jehovah go definitely oppose person weh oppose any of hin servants.
PRAYER
Dear God, I understand sey you go bless me if i respect your servants, and you go punish me if i disrespect dem. Therefore, I pray sey make you please help me to bi kautious of my attitudes towards your servants. Make me respect and care fo dem; rather, help men to minister to dea needs.
