Be Watchful; Live Conformed To God’s Word

Every Christian is challenged to daily monitor his or her life, and ensure not to fall victim to erratic practices that have perpetrated our society. The scripture stated,

“But exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end” (Hebrews 3:13-14).

Lesson:

Christianity is a seasoned religion based on the lifestyle of Jesus Christ; Christians must practice the religion with full devotion. We must follow the scriptures to the letter, and we must live according to God's standard. Since Christianity is a pilgrimage process that leads to God, believers must be careful to observe it with care. We cannot be loose in faith and compromise bible principles; we must stand up for righteousness. Also, we must not give in to any temptation and/or persecution. We must be sensitive and be prayerful to confront and overcome any circumstance that may challenge our faith in Jesus Christ. It is important that we Christians rely on God's power to overcome our challenges! We must be prayerful and daily ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer:

Dear God, I am a Christian, and it is my choice to stand upright and meet bible requirements. It is my desire to live a devoted life to you. I do not want to compromise my faith under whatever circumstance. I do not want to follow popular opinions that are contradictory to the bible, but I want to stand up for righteousness and do whatever you required of me. Please give me strength through your Holy Spirit to be a true Christian! Anoint me with grace to meet your heavenly mandates, so that I can rejoice with you on the last day. Please prosper my ways on earth also, so that I can be motivated to serve you more. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
