Dey Trust God Always

“O Lord, you induced me, and I dey persuaded; you dey stronger than I, and have prevailed. I dey in derision daily; everyone dey mock me. For when I spoke, I crie out; I shout, “Violence and plunder!” Because Di word of the Lord was made to me a reproach and a derision daily. Then I say, “I no go make mention of am, nor speak anymore about Him name.” But Him word dey in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I no fit” (Jeremiah 20:7-9).
LESSON:
Christians dey require to stand up for Di truth and speak out the mind for God at all time. We dey expected to say Di truth, even when E no dey convenient. Of course, persecution go rise against us for doing God's will, but God has promised us victory! We most no allow pressure and intimidation of others to persuade us into disobeying God. We Christians be God's pikin, and we most obey God always. Our righteous efforts go promote God's name and make more pipu become thoughtful of am. (Pipu wer serve God more when dem dey thoughtful of him). Also, our acts of obedience go lead to our blessing, since God don promised "... For those who honor Me na him I go honor, and those who despise Me go be lightly esteemed" (1 Samuel 2:30).
PRAYER:
Dear God, abeg help me to stand up for you at all times. Help me to stand up for righteousness and obey you! Abeg do not let me give in for Di pressure of Dis world and disobey you. Keep me truthfully as required, so that you go dey please. Makebm my yea be yea, and let my nay be nay. Also, let me speak out Di truth of Di Bible to others; no let me follow opinions wer dey erratic and/or ungodly. Help me to live according to Di bible, so that you go fit bless me on earth and in heaven. For in the name of Jesus krist na him I make my request. Amen.
